How to get here
From Aosta: Follow the motorway A5 towards M.Blanc then turn off at the exit Aosta West – St. Peter.
Follow the signs to Aosta (Aosta Centro). After 500 m turn left at the traffic lights towards Saint-Pierre. Once arrived at the castle of Saint-Pierre follow the directions to Saint-Nicolas for 8 km. Once you arrive at Vetan hamlet, follow the directions for Hotel Notre Maison (1800m) and leave your car in the vicinity as the path that leads to the refuge starts there.
The footpath number is 13. You will pass by Thoules pasture and Vallon de Loe and it is only here that the trail starts to climb. Continue following the way number 13, and look out at the magnificent panorama around you. Next to Lac des Grenouilles, the Refuge Mount Fallère (238m) will be waiting for you.

From Flassin, hamlet of Saint-Oyen municipality: Turn off at the exit “Aosta Est” and follow the directions to Gran San Bernardo. In about 18 km, you get at the entrance of the town of Saint-Oyen, follow the directions to Flassin. Continue driving for 2 km then park your car in the nearby of Bar-Camping “La Pineta”. From there (1300m of altitude) you will walk through the “Comba de Flassin”, “Col Vertosan Nord” and afterwards down into the valley of “Verrogne” passing through the passage “Col Fenetre”. Once there you will find the Refuge Mont Fallere.
